E-Verify ID Number

(Recommended) Entering your five- to seven-digit E-Verify Client Company ID will help us process your new hire quickly and correctly. It will also activate future service enhancements as they are implemented. (If you do not know your company’s ID number, contact us.)

“40133” is our (Verifyi9’s) E-Verify ID Number. Your E-Verify ID Number is the “Client Company ID Number” found at the top of the Memorandum of Understanding. If you do not know your ID Number, please contact us.

MoU Sign Date

The Memorandum of Understanding prohibits employers from verifying existing employees; meaning those who were hired before the date that the employer began participation in E-Verify. You should not submit for verification an employee whose start date was before the date below unless your organization is a federal contractor. Employers whose E-Verify account designates them as a federal contractor may verify existing employees. If this field is empty, you have entered an incorrect E-Verify ID Number above.

How to Submit Multiple New Hires
Please include the I-9 and identification documents in a single PDF file for each employee. Including ID documents is optional except when the employee presented either a US Passport or Passport Card; a Permanent Resident Card; or Employment Authorization Document (EAD, Form I-766). For those documents, include the “info page” of the passport or the front and back of the cards.

Common Errors
Check for the following errors, which will delay verification of your new hire:

— This List A identification document bears a document number. It will be in the format of THREE letters followed by TEN digits and will NOT be the same as the USCIS/Alien Number. Depending on the card’s version, the number may be on the front or back. If the card bears three rows of characters, the Document Number will be located in the top row, to the right.

— When you accept and describe a List B document, you must also describe a List C document.

— The List B document description must include an Issuing Authority, Document Number and Expiration Date. If the document does not show an expiration date, enter “N/A”.

— When the employee presents List B & C documents, you may not accept a restricted Social Security card.

— Acceptable List A Documents

— If the employee presents a foreign passport, s/he must also present Form I-94. Record the information from the I-94 in the second section of the List A column.

Upload ID Copy*

Since the new hire presented a U.S. Passport (or card), Permanent Resident Card (I-551) or Employment Authorization Document/Card (I-766), we are required to conduct a photo verification; to match the photo on the document to the photo on file in the USCIS/E-Verify system. Upload an image of the front AND back of the card. If a US Passport, upload an image of the information page and the barcode page (inside back cover).

Before You Submit…

— Is Section 1 complete (name, DOB, SSN)?
— Did the employee select a citizenship status (and only one)?
— Are either a List A document or a combination of a List B and List C documents fully described in Section 2?
— Is the “first day of employment” entered in Section 2?
— If uploading a US Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or EAD I-766, is the employee’s face legible?
